Efacec was present at the International Exhibition that took place in Lisbon, between the 27th and 29th September 2010.
Efacec, through its business units, has a wide experience in turn key solutions implementation with a strong component of management, control and automation in the field of power production through hydro power plants.

PORTI, Lisbon
The Efacec Group attended the Technological Portugal 2010 event (Portugal Tecnológico 2010) that took place in the International Fair of Lisbon, between the 22nd and 26th of September.
The opening session had the presence of the Prime Minister José Sócrates.
In the scope of the Demonstration System, Efacec’s Automation Unit highlighted its new solution for Smart Grids, the SmartGate platform.

E-Energy Conference 2010, Athens
Efacec participated in E-Energy Conference that took place in Athens between the 14th and 15th October 2010.
This participation was held by Nuno Silva from Automation business unit, with the presentation entitled “Smart Grid Solutions and on-going projects: InovGrid Project”. It was integrated in the workshop “Real Smart Grid Applications”, where Efacec exposed its experience in Smart Grids projects, as well as explained its vision regarding the future architecture and functionalities to change the conventional distribution network into a real smart grid.
This conference provided a focused and highly interactive forum where researchers and technologists had the opportunity to present and discuss leading research, developments, and future directions in the usage of ICT in Power Systems. The goal of this event was to present best research efforts and a forum where new concepts can be introduced and explored.
