Light Serviços de Eletricidade S.A. and the Brazilian National Electric Power Generation and Transmission Committee - Cigré/Brazil organized in august, the 8^th edition of the Power System Automation Symposium - VIII Simpase, which took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

During the event, Efacec was represented actively by the Automation Unit having presented two works called “InovGrid Project – The distribution network evolution, as a response to the new challenges in the electric sector”, and “Advanced Solutions for IEC 61850 Systems Engineering”.

Those two essays were selected among almost 200 abstracts submitted by several companies, which demonstrates the high level of topical subject and innovation scope presented by Efacec.
