The SmartGate has been recently awarded with a KEMA certification standing for the IEC 60870-5-104 communication protocol implementation.

The SmartGate is an intelligent module, conceived to be used at MV/LV Distribution Transformer Substations, aiming to supervise its own state, as well as to collect metering data coming from electric power smart meters, consumers or LV network micro-producers.

The SmartGate interacts with the central systems, in particular with the SCADA/DMS system and the corporate information system.
